Choosing what to use around your pool can be a pretty daunting task – there are so many different factors that need to be accounted for whilst still maintaining the look of the space you’ve created. At Sydney Tile Gallery, we have a number of options to be considered whilst making a decision.
Travertine Pavers
Travertine is by far the number one choice amongst our clients when it comes to Pool Pavers and Coping. Travertine is a very dense and non-porous stone, making it much less susceptible to stains; and also maintains its cool in the heat to avoid a hot surface.
Travertine Pavers come in either a pencil edge or Bullnose, depending on whether you’re after a more traditional or modern style. We also specialise in custom drop edge coping, to give the illusion of a chunkier stone edge around your pool. We offer travertine pool coping and pavers in both Classic and Silver Travertine in a tumbled finish.
Sandstone Pavers
Our Sandstone is another popular choice for our clients, as it offers a different look to the classic Travertine. Our sandstone pavers come in honed or sandblasted finish for external use, suitable to be used as pool coping and pool surrounds. Our Dover Sandstone is a classic sandstone with brown tones and slight orange tinges throughout. Whereas our Aspen White Sandstone is a more subtle choice, with minimal veins and creamy white tones.
Granite Pavers
Granite pavers are another choice to be considered when choosing pool pavers and coping. With Granite, you’ll find it is very low maintenance and cost effective – however the main downfall is it absorbs heat and becomes very hot during the summer months.
Granite is available in a number of grey tones ranging from light to dark, making it the perfect choice for those with a modern home and monochromatic tones. Our granite pavers are available in either a Honed or Flamed finish, in either Pencil Edge or Drop Edge pool coping.
