WHAT IS LIMESTONE

Limestone is a sedimentary rock, formed by the deposition and subsequent cementation at the surface of the earth and within bodies of water. It is generally light in colour and composed from calcium carbonate-rich minerals including calcite and aragonite. Generally,Limestone is mottled in appearance and features shells and fossil fragments.

USES FOR LIMESTONE
