MOLEANOS LIMESTONE TILES & PAVERS

Moleanos Limestone is a beige coloured limestone, with medium mottling and graining. This stone features fragments of shells and fossils, making each tile unique. Moleanos is a popular tile for use within traditional homes, given its cream tones and characteristics. We recommend that the Limestone is sealed with a penetrating stone sealer. Moleanos Limestone is subject to variation as each tile has its own unique surface.

WHAT IS LIMESTONE

Limestone is a sedimentary rock, formed by the deposition and subsequent cementation at the surface of the earth and within bodies of water. It is generally light in colour and composed from calcium carbonate-rich minerals including calcite and aragonite. Generally, Limestone is mottled in appearance and features shells and fossil fragments.

USES FOR LIMESTONE

Limestone comes in both tile and paver format, in a number of finishes making it suitable for both internal and external uses. Our Limestone tumbled pavers are ideal for use around pools, BBQ and outdoor patio areas. Our honed limestone tiles are suitable for internal applications, including high humidity areas, kitchens and general flooring.
