Silver Travertine has the same characteristics as classic travertine but with silver and grey tones. Silver Travertine does contain beige undertones, however it is predominantly grey. Silver Travertine honed tiles are suitable for indoor use in living areas, kitchens and bathrooms. We recommend that Travertine is sealed with a stone penetrating sealer. Natural Stone is subject to variation as each tile has its own unique surface.

WHAT IS TRAVERTINE

Travertine is a type of limestone that forms around mineral spring deposits.One key trait is theholes found within the stone, this iscaused by carbon dioxide evasion. Travertine can range in colour from ivory and beige to brownand goldas well as silver and grey. The colour is determined by the amount of iron or other organic impurities found in the particular slab of travertine. Travertine tiles are very dense, making it one of the most durable stones on the market.
